‘Itllu Thaman’ Is Coming Mahesh Uppala Praises Thaman’s Music For ‘Itllu Arjuna’

‘Itllu Arjuna’ director Mahesh Uppala has revealed why audiences may soon associate composer S Thaman with the film. Speaking at the teaser launch, Uppala praised Thaman’s soulful and emotional score and joked that people would start calling him “Itllu Thaman” after listening to the music.

The comments come as the makers unveiled the ‘Itllu Arjuna’ teaser after a brief delay. The teaser introduces Aniesh as Arjun, a speech impaired young man whose attempts to communicate are understood by almost nobody. His life changes when he meets Keerthi, played by Anaswara Rajan, who gradually understands what he is trying to say.

The teaser blends romance, emotion and action, showing Arjun and Keerthi developing a bond through expressive visuals and Thaman’s elegant score. However, their relationship soon gets caught up in a dangerous situation, with cops and antagonists chasing Arjun. The glimpse also features large scale action sequences and a rap song, while keeping the larger story under wraps.

Aniesh, introduced as the “New Guy in Town”, is making his silver screen debut with the film. The teaser has also given him an opportunity to showcase the character through expressions and body language rather than conventional dialogue. Anaswara brings charm to the romantic track and shares the screen with Aniesh for the first time.

The film marks the directorial debut of Mahesh Uppala and the maiden production venture of ‘Chalo’ and ‘Bheeshma’ director Venky Kudumula under his banner What Next Entertainments. Uppala and co writer Manasa Sharma have penned the story.

Uppala also spoke warmly about working with Thaman, saying the composer treated him with respect and made him comfortable during their music sessions. He believes the music will play an important role in the film’s emotional journey.

‘Itllu Arjuna’ was initially announced for an October 9 release but has now been postponed to October 30, 2026. With the teaser receiving attention for its unusual love story, action elements and Thaman’s music, the makers are preparing for the next phase of promotions.
