Intel has partnered with iDream Education to advance its national education initiative, “PadhAI Ka Future,” aimed at transforming student laptops into secure, purpose-driven learning devices across India.

With laptop usage among school-going children increasing rapidly, the initiative addresses growing concerns around unrestricted internet access, exposure to age-inappropriate content, and digital distractions. While parents often prioritise hardware specifications such as processor speed, RAM and storage, experts warn that the absence of safety controls and structured learning content can undermine the educational value of digital devices.

Under the collaboration, iDream Education’s iPrep Learning App will be integrated into Intel-powered student laptops. As an official Intel learning partner, iDream Education will provide curriculum-aligned, bilingual digital content covering multiple classes and subjects. The platform offers NCERT-aligned videos, practice modules, quizzes and assessments within a structured and age-appropriate digital environment.

According to the companies, the initiative is built on the principle that a laptop becomes a true learning tool only when it is supported by trusted educational resources and strong parental controls. The programme aims to reduce risks linked to unguarded internet access and social media, while ensuring seamless access to certified learning materials from the moment a device is unboxed.

The partnership comes at a time when children’s exposure to online platforms, short-form videos and AI-driven tools is expanding, raising concerns among parents and educators about online safety and screen misuse. Industry observers see the move as part of a broader shift from merely distributing devices to creating guided and secure digital learning ecosystems.

Intel said the “PadhAI Ka Future” campaign seeks to redefine the role of laptops in education by combining performance, safety and curated content, enabling students to learn confidently both at home and in school.
