Infosys, OpenAI Partner to Drive Enterprise AI Transformation
Infosys on Wednesday announced a strategic collaboration with OpenAI aimed at accelerating artificial intelligence adoption across enterprises and enabling large-scale digital transformation.
The partnership will bring together OpenAI’s advanced AI models, including Codex, with Infosys Topaz Fabric, the company’s AI-first suite of enterprise solutions. The initiative is designed to help organisations transition from early-stage AI experimentation to practical, scalable deployment with measurable business outcomes.
The collaboration will initially focus on key areas such as software engineering, legacy modernisation, DevOps automation, and e-commerce. By integrating AI-powered coding tools, workflow automation, and prebuilt agents with Infosys’ enterprise platforms, the companies aim to enhance engineering productivity, streamline development processes, and reduce time-to-market.
According to the companies, the alliance will also emphasise responsible adoption of “agentic AI,” ensuring governance, reliability, and scalability in enterprise environments.
Denise Dresser, Chief Revenue Officer at OpenAI, said the collaboration would help organisations deploy Codex across multiple use cases, including code modernisation, automated reviews, and application development, while extending its capabilities into broader business workflows.
Infosys CEO Salil Parekh noted that generative and agentic AI are set to redefine enterprise operations. He said the partnership establishes a framework that combines technology, talent, and transformation strategies, enabling clients to move from pilot projects to full-scale performance and gain competitive advantage.
With its global delivery network and experience in enterprise transformation, Infosys said it is well positioned to implement AI solutions across industries, helping businesses unlock value and drive innovation at scale.
