The Boeing 737‑800 aircraft, operating as Flight 6E 579 , declared a full emergency at about 10:39 am when reports came in of a technical issue involving one engine, prompting emergency protocols and high alert on Runway 28 .

Despite the scare, the aircraft touched down safely at around 10:59 am–11 am with no injuries or casualties reported among passengers or crew , according to airport officials and flight tracking data.
