
Indian cricket team seeks blessings at Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple
Ahead of the fifth and final T20I against New Zealand, seven members of the Indian cricket team visited the famed Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple on Friday morning to offer prayers.
The players, who arrived in the city on Thursday, were seen in traditional temple attire, including T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav , all-rounder Axar Patel , and batters Rinku Singh and Varun Chakravarthy . Spin bowlers Kuldeep Yadav and Ravi Bishnoi , along with fielding coach T Dilip , also participated in the visit.
Spending around half an hour at the historic temple complex, the team sought divine blessings ahead of scheduled for Saturday.
The Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, renowned for its intricate architecture and centuries-old heritage, remains one of South India’s most revered Hindu shrines.
