
India U-19 Face USA in World Cup Opener, Eye Sixth Title
India’s Under-19 cricket team , five-time champions, will start their ICC U-19 World Cup journey against USA on Thursday ,the match will be played at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe , aiming to secure a record-extending sixth title . The tournament is being jointly hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia .
Placed in Group B alongside USA, Bangladesh, and New Zealand , India’s group-stage schedule is:: Jan 15: vs USA at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo, Jan 17: vs Bangladesh, Bulawayo, Jan 24: vs New Zealand, Bulawayo.
India enter the tournament with strong form , having won 13 of their last 16 matches , including series victories in England, Australia, and South Africa . A rain-affected warm-up against England ended in a 20-run defeat , but the squad remains confident.
