
India Post Payments Bank opens recruitment for 309 posts
The India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), under the Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, Government of India, has invited applications for 309 posts of Junior Associate and Assistant Manager. The recruitment notification was released on the official website www.ippbonline.bank.in , and applications have been invited online from November 1, 2025, to December 1, 2025.
The recruitment has been announced on a deputation or foreign service basis, and applications have been invited only from regular employees working in Central or State Governments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), or Autonomous Bodies. The recruitment drive is being conducted to strengthen IPPB’s operational network across India through the Department of Posts.
According to the official notification, a total of 309 vacancies have been notified. Of these, 110 posts are for Assistant Managers and 199 posts are for Junior Associates. The candidates must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university to be considered eligible.
The age limit has been set between 20 and 35 years for Assistant Managers and 20 and 32 years for Junior Associates, as of November 1, 2025. Age relaxations will be provided as per government norms.
Applicants have been instructed to submit their applications through the official website only. No other mode of application will be accepted. The application fee of ₹750 must be paid online, and it will be non-refundable under any circumstances.
The selection process will be primarily merit-based, determined by the percentage of marks obtained in graduation. In case of candidates obtaining equal marks, preference will be given to the one with an earlier date of birth. The Bank has reserved the right to conduct an online test, group discussion, or interview if deemed necessary.
For Assistant Manager roles, the selected officials will be responsible for managing and analyzing Management Information Systems (MIS), conducting field visits, promoting business through financial literacy camps and business events, and assisting postal employees in technology-related issues.
For Junior Associate positions, the job responsibilities will include managing relationships with channel partners, promoting IPPB’s financial products, identifying business correspondents, conducting sales campaigns, and generating revenue through banking services.
Officers appointed on deputation or foreign service will be entitled to either the pay scale of the deputation post or their basic pay in the parent cadre with deputation allowance, along with admissible personal pay, as per IPPB guidelines.
Candidates have been advised to ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria before applying, as incomplete or ineligible applications will be summarily rejected. The final date for submitting the application form and paying the fee is December 1, 2025.
It has been clarified that this recruitment is not open to the general public and is specifically for existing government or PSU employees. The reference to “Anganwadi Recruitment” seen on some job websites has been confirmed as unrelated to this IPPB recruitment notification.
