In an effort to increase voter participation, raise awareness, and empower citizens, a 2-kilometer run was organized under the Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program.

The run, named “I Vote for Sure”, kicked off from Krishnakant Park, Yusufguda, with participants enthusiastically shouting the slogan “Ready, Set, Vote!”. Organizers described the event not just as a race, but as a meaningful step toward strengthening democracy. This special initiative was conducted in the context of the upcoming by-elections in the 61-Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency.

The main aim of the program was to educate the local community about their voting rights and responsibilities. Participants also took part in various awareness sessions and training activities related to the democratic process. Organizers encouraged everyone to exercise their voting rights responsibly and actively participate in elections, emphasizing the message: “No voter should be left behind!”. They also reminded people to “check your vote!” to ensure accuracy and accountability.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from people of all ages, including youth, senior citizens, and families, highlighting the importance of active civic engagement. According to the organizers, initiatives like this under the SVEEP program help citizens become informed and responsible voters, ensuring that everyone can contribute meaningfully to the democratic process.
