The 18th edition of the Rozgar Mela was grandly held on Friday at the CRPF Group Centre in Chandrayangutta . The event saw Union Minister for Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy , as the chief guest , distributing appointment letters to several selected candidates . Speaking at the occasion, the minister expressed pride in India’s youth , highlighting their global recognition in key sectors like healthcare and IT .
Minister Reddy emphasized that these appointments mark the beginning of the candidates’ professional journeys and should not be viewed merely as routine employment . He urged young people to actively contribute to the nation’s development , noting that they will play a pivotal role in India achieving comprehensive growth by 2047 . He reiterated the importance of collective effort in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas, Sabka Vishwas” , especially emphasizing youth participation .
Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined the event virtually via video conference , motivating the candidates and reaffirming his strong faith in India’s youth . He highlighted how education , skill development , and technology have enabled young Indians to transition from job seekers to job creators , providing them opportunities to compete globally .
Across India, various central ministries , departments , and public sector units distributed 61,000 appointment letters as part of the Rozgar Mela . In Hyderabad , Minister Reddy personally handed over letters to selected candidates . Since its inception in 2022 , the Rozgar Mela has successfully conducted 17 editions , providing employment opportunities to over 1.1 million youth .
The initiative aims to strengthen youth confidence in government processes and create transparent, corruption-free employment opportunities . Minister Reddy assured that efforts to support and provide job security to newly recruited government employees will continue, reflecting the central government’s commitment to skill development and youth empowerment .
Rozgar Mela in Hakimpet: Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Distributes Appointment Letters
The 18th Rozgar Mela at the National Industrial Security Academy in Hakimpet , near Secunderabad , was another major highlight . Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar , attended as the chief guest and handed out appointment letters to selected candidates . Speaking at the event, he stated that ensuring employment for India’s youth remains a key priority of the Modi-led central government .
Sanjay emphasized that job opportunities are more than statistics —they address real hardships faced by countless families . He noted that the Prime Minister understands the youth’s struggles , which is why the government ensures continuous recruitment through transparent calendars . The central government prioritizes merit-based appointments free of corruption and leakages , he added.
Over the past three years , the Rozgar Mela has facilitated employment for more than 1.1 million candidates . On Friday alone, 61,000 appointment letters were distributed nationwide . Sanjay credited Prime Minister Modi for these transparent recruitment initiatives .
The Hakimpet event sparked fresh hopes among youth , demonstrating how central government policies strengthen both national development and the future of young Indians .
