Hyderabad to host 'Mera Desh Pahle' musical on PM Modi's life

A grand musical stage show titled Mera Desh Pahle – The Untold Story of Shri Narendra Modi is set to take place at HITEX Exhibition Centre in Madhapur on Tuesday evening. The event will be graced by Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Coal Minister G. Kishan Reddy, Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, and former Governors Bandaru Dattatreya and Ch. Vidyasagar Rao. The cultural programme is apolitical and aims to celebrate the life and philosophy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The musical, conceptualised by Bollywood lyricist Manoj Muntashir, has already received acclaim in Mumbai. It portrays various facets of PM Modi's journey, from his early life in Gujarat to his rise in Indian politics, through a blend of music, poetry, and performance. The production features renowned artists such as B Praak, Sneha Shankar, Rishi Singh, Ashish Kulkarni, and Ujwal Gajbhar, with direction by Deepak Gattani.

Telangana BJP President N. Ramchander Rao expressed enthusiasm about the show's presence in Hyderabad, highlighting its significance in showcasing the nation's history and leadership. The event is expected to draw a diverse audience, including Bollywood celebrities and cultural figures, further enhancing its appeal and impact.

The musical is part of a multi-city tour, with previous screenings held in Delhi and Mumbai, and upcoming shows planned for Patna, Varanasi, and Kolkata. Each performance aims to provide audiences with a deeper understanding of Prime Minister Modi's life and the principles that have guided his leadership.
