Hyderabad set for Telangana rising summit as state releases official event logo

The Telangana government has stepped up preparations for the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, an international event designed to position the state as a major global investment and innovation destination. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has extended invitations to world leaders, policymakers, investors, and business icons, urging them to participate in shaping Telangana’s long-term growth strategy. The summit, scheduled for December 8 and 9 at Bharat Future City, is expected to attract more than 3,000 industrialists, CEOs, startup founders, venture capitalists, and technology leaders. Ahead of the event, the government also released the official Telangana Rising summit logo, highlighting the state’s ambition for futuristic, globally integrated development.

A number of internationally prominent personalities have confirmed their attendance. Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra, Trump Media & Technology Group CEO Eric Swider, members of the UAE Royal Family, and Ludwig Heinzlmann of Deutsche Börse Group are among the confirmed dignitaries. Senior executives from companies such as Microsoft, Google, Meta, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, and HSBC are also expected, reinforcing Hyderabad’s expanding stature in global economic and technology networks.

The summit will feature a wide range of high-level engagements, including C-suite roundtable sessions, global policy discussions, investor networking forums, industry panels, and a large-scale drone show that aims to set a Guinness World Record. One of the key highlights will be the launch of 70 new Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in Telangana—an unprecedented expansion that reflects the state’s growing influence in the global IT and innovation ecosystem.

On December 9, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will unveil the ‘Telangana Rising 2047’ Vision Document, which outlines the state’s long-term developmental roadmap in alignment with India’s Viksit Bharat 2047 framework. Anticipated focus areas include a detailed plan for building a $1 trillion economy, development of an AI City, expansion of emerging technology corridors, and proposals for a South India Bullet Train Grid connecting Hyderabad with major metropolitan regions. The vision is also expected to emphasize a robust climate sustainability strategy aimed at transforming Telangana into a net-zero state by 2047, alongside aggressive plans for renewable energy, EV adoption, and climate-resilient agriculture.

Additionally, the document is likely to outline futuristic industrial strategies covering semiconductors, green hydrogen, aerospace, defence manufacturing, and next-generation mobility, as well as policies for skilling, youth development, and creating one of India’s strongest innovation-driven workforces. Urban development plans aimed at elevating Hyderabad to global Tier-1 city standards and major infrastructure and logistics initiatives, including multi-modal parks and dry ports, are also expected to figure prominently.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has expressed confidence that the summit will open a new chapter in Telangana’s economic and developmental trajectory. He stated that the event is not just a platform for dialogue, but a historic opportunity to present Telangana as a future-ready global hub for investment, technology, sustainability, and talent. With the presence of top global leaders, the unveiling of the Telangana Rising 2047 blueprint, and multiple large-scale announcements, the summit is poised to become a landmark moment in the state’s march toward long-term prosperity.
