Hyd comes alive with Sadar festival celebrations

The Sri Krishna Sadar Sammelan brought the city alive with festive energy as thousands gathered to witness the annual Sadar celebrations. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy attended the event as the chief guest, which stretched from Indira Park to the NTR Stadium, creating a carnival-like atmosphere across Hyderabad.

The festival drew a large crowd of Yadav community members, cattle herders, Sammelan representatives, and local residents. The celebrations featured impressive Sadar displays, decorated bull races, and other traditional attractions that captured everyone’s attention.

Speaking at the event, CM Revanth Reddy highlighted the significant role of the Yadav community in Telangana’s development. He praised their contributions to the dairy and livestock sectors, noting how their efforts strengthen the state’s economy. The CM assured that the government is committed to providing due recognition, representation, and respect to the Yadav community.

“Yadavs stand firm for those they believe in, through challenges and hardships, and their support has been instrumental in shaping Telangana as an ideal city for global investments,” said Revanth Reddy. He also mentioned that the state government officially recognized and funded the Sadar festivals in response to the community’s request, supporting both cultural preservation and the modernization of livestock practices.

The CM emphasized that the Sadar festival is not just a showcase of cattle but a celebration of culture and community strength. Ministers and public representatives attended the event alongside thousands of enthusiastic spectators. Sammelan representatives expressed their gratitude to the CM for his initiatives aimed at the development of the Yadav community.

With its colorful displays, spirited competitions, and vibrant cultural performances, the Sadar Sammelan turned Hyderabad into a hub of cultural pride and community celebration.
