Hrithik Roshan makes production debut with prime video’s Mumbai thriller ‘storm’

Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan is stepping behind the camera for the first time, launching his production banner HRX Films and co-producing an upcoming thriller series titled Storm for Prime Video, alongside his cousin Eshaan Roshan.

Directed by Ajitpal Singh, the series is set against the bustling, high-stakes backdrop of Mumbai, weaving a gripping narrative of ambition, secrets, and survival. The show features a powerhouse ensemble cast, including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Alaya F, Srishti Shrivastava, Rrama Sharma, and Saba Azad, each playing characters entangled in a tense urban drama.

Director Ajitpal Singh, known for his BAFTA-recognized works such as Fire in the Mountains and the acclaimed SonyLIV series Tabbar , brings his distinctive storytelling style rooted in realism and emotion. A self-taught filmmaker from Punjab, Singh’s films are celebrated for their layered characters and deep social undercurrents promising Storm to be more than just a thriller, but a reflection of the human spirit caught in chaos.
