Hollywood’s ‘The Adjustment Bureau’ to Get an Indian adaptation

Hollywood writer-director George Nolfi is set to bring his acclaimed film The Adjustment Bureau to Indian audiences with a full-fledged Indian adaptation. The project will be produced in collaboration with Sharad Devarajan’s Graphic India, known for the hit animated series The Legend of Hanuman .

Nolfi, who wrote and directed the 2011 sci-fi romantic thriller starring Oscar-winner Matt Damon and A Quiet Place actor Emily Blunt, will co-produce the project with Devarajan. The original film explored the delicate balance between love and predestined fate, following a politician and a dancer who challenge a mysterious organization controlling human destiny.

The Adjustment Bureau grossed over USD 127 million worldwide and continues to be a popular title on streaming platforms, making it a compelling choice for an Indian-language remake. Graphic India aims to reimagine the story for Indian audiences while retaining the intriguing blend of romance, suspense, and sci-fi that made the original a global hit.
