High Command Hails Revanth’s Governance Drive
In a significant political and administrative outreach, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy led his cabinet team to New Delhi, outlining an ambitious roadmap to propel Telangana into the league of the world’s strongest economies. The high-level meetings signaled the state government’s intent to combine welfare expansion with aggressive long-term economic planning.
During discussions with AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi , the Chief Minister presented a detailed update on governance reforms, welfare rollout, and Telangana’s long-term development strategy. The visit comes at a crucial time as the government consolidates its position after assuming office in December 2023.
$3 Trillion Dream by 2047
At the heart of the discussions was the government’s bold “Telangana Rising 2047” Vision , which aims to transform the state into a $3 trillion economy by India’s centenary year of Independence. The blueprint lays out structural reforms, industrial expansion, infrastructure upgrades, and human capital development as key growth pillars.
Revanth Reddy highlighted the swift implementation of the government’s Six Guarantees , calling them the foundation of a people-centric administration. Flagship measures such as free bus travel for women , Rythu Bharosa financial support , and Gruha Jyothi power subsidy have, he said, strengthened public confidence and delivered immediate relief to households.
Focus on Social Justice and Urban Transformation
The Chief Minister also detailed transformative projects including the Musi River rejuvenation , plans for a dedicated Skill University , and a comprehensive push to position Hyderabad as a global investment and innovation hub . Preparations for upcoming local body elections and the political momentum gained from recent municipal results were also part of the deliberations.
Reaffirming his government’s commitment to social justice, inclusive growth, and Bottom-up development , Revanth Reddy stressed that farmers, women, youth, and marginalized communities remain at the centre of policy decisions.
The Delhi visit is being seen as both a strategic political consultation and a forward-looking development pitch — with Telangana positioning itself not just as a welfare-driven state, but as an emerging economic powerhouse with a clear long-term vision.
