Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has officially entered the Spanish market, marking a major milestone in its global expansion strategy. The company announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with Noria Motos, a part of the ONEX Group, to distribute its products across Spain. This move establishes Hero MotoCorp’s presence in its 50th international market, further strengthening its foothold in Europe.

Founded in India, Hero MotoCorp has evolved into one of the most influential names in the global two-wheeler industry. Known for its innovation, reliability, and wide product portfolio, the company produces motorcycles and scooters that cater to diverse market segments from commuter bikes to premium adventure models. Over the years, Hero has expanded its reach beyond Asia into Africa, Latin America, and now deeper into Europe, aligning with its vision of becoming a truly global mobility leader.

The company’s entry into Spain follows its earlier foray into the Italian market, reflecting its strategic focus on strengthening operations in Europe, one of the most competitive and dynamic regions for two-wheelers. The partnership with Noria Motos will enable Hero MotoCorp to leverage ONEX Group’s established retail and service network. Initially, Hero products will be available through over 30 official sales and service outlets across major Spanish cities. The company plans to expand this network to more than 50 outlets by 2026 and reach full nationwide coverage by 2028.

Hero MotoCorp will introduce three of its popular models in Spain the Xpulse 200 4V, Xpulse 200 4V Pro, and Hunk 440. These models have been chosen for their blend of performance, design, and adaptability to European road conditions. The Xpulse series, known for its adventure-ready build, and the Hunk 440, with its muscular styling, align with the preferences of Spanish riders who favor sporty and versatile motorcycles.

In an official statement, Sanjay Bhan, Executive Vice President of Hero MotoCorp, said, “Following our foray into Italy, our launch in Spain further strengthens our footprint across Europe – one of the world’s most dynamic two-wheeler markets. With our presence now spanning 50 international markets across five continents, we reaffirm our commitment to redefining the future of mobility through next-generation mobility solutions.”

The collaboration with Noria Motos and ONEX Group was first discussed in early 2024 as part of Hero MotoCorp’s broader European expansion roadmap. The partnership evolved through a series of strategic discussions and market assessments, culminating in the official launch announcement in October 2025.

By entering Spain, Hero MotoCorp not only expands its global market presence but also reinforces its ambition to position itself as a leading global brand in the premium and adventure motorcycling segments. With its continued focus on innovation, local partnerships, and customer-centric strategies, the company is poised to play a key role in shaping the future of two-wheeler mobility across Europe and beyond.
