The United Kingdom market has been entered by homegrown two-wheeler giant Hero MotoCorp through a strategic partnership with MotoGB, a Lancashire-based distributor. This move marks the 51st international market for Hero MotoCorp, further strengthening its presence across Europe.

As part of the UK debut, the advanced Euro 5+ range, led by the Hunk 440, will be introduced to meet the growing demand for high-performance motorcycles in the region.

It was stated by Sanjay Bhan, Executive Vice President of Hero MotoCorp, that “Following the foray into Italy and Spain, the European footprint has been further strengthened by the partnership with MotoGB.” He further added that “The launch of Hunk 440 demonstrates the deep understanding of UK riders – a motorcycle that stays true to the core of motorcycling while offering style, performance, and reliability in an accessible package.”

Through the partnership with MotoGB, local expertise in distribution, customer service, and regulatory compliance will be leveraged, enabling the market entry to be accelerated and brand credibility to be built in the UK. The product range will initially be made available through over 25 official sales and service outlets, and expansion to more than 35 locations by 2026 has been planned.

It was stated by Matt Kay, General Manager of MotoGB, that “A deep commitment to putting customers first and ensuring a seamless ownership experience is shared by both Hero MotoCorp and MotoGB, supported by a robust sales and service network across the country.”

The UK expansion by Hero MotoCorp is expected to have positive effects on the Indian economy. Increased international sales are anticipated to boost exports, strengthen revenue, and enhance foreign exchange inflows. Furthermore, the global success of Hero’s motorcycles is expected to reinforce India’s reputation as a hub for automotive manufacturing and engineering excellence, potentially attracting more international investments in the sector.

The entry into the UK has been highlighted as part of Hero MotoCorp’s aggressive international expansion strategy, which aims to leverage European market experience while meeting the evolving preferences of performance-oriented riders.
