
Health Minister Damodar launches AI-based cardiac health camp at Telangana Secretariat
Telangana Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha inaugurated an AI-enabled mega cardiac health camp on the third floor of the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat on Wednesday. The camp has been organised by Renova Hospitals to promote regular health monitoring among Secretariat employees.
As part of the initiative, doctors and medical staff from Renova Hospitals conducted free health screenings for employees, including blood pressure checks, Glucose Random Blood Sugar (GRBS) tests, ECGs (Electrocardiogram), and 2D echocardiograms using advanced diagnostic equipment.
Speaking at the launch, Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha emphasised the growing importance of health awareness in today’s fast-paced lifestyle. He noted that a healthy workforce is essential for delivering efficient public services and reiterated that employee well-being is a responsibility of the government. He added that similar health camps would soon be arranged for staff across various departments.
The Minister appreciated Renova Hospitals for offering state-of-the-art cardiac screening services at no cost and commended the Secretariat Employees’ Association for coordinating the event. He said such initiatives reflect the government’s commitment to safeguarding the health of its employees.
