Harish Rao urges voters to defeat Congress in Jubilee Hills
Former minister and Siddipet MLA Harish Rao sharply criticized the Congress government, saying it has already faced public backlash within just a few months of coming to power. Speaking at a campaign event for BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha in the Jubilee Hills by-election, Harish Rao called on voters to defeat the Congress candidate and deliver a strong warning to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
Harish Rao pointed out that despite Congress promising six key guarantees, the party has failed to implement them. He highlighted ongoing issues in Hyderabad, including frequent power cuts and water shortages, saying the public continues to suffer under what he described as “Hydraa-Bandh” conditions.
“This by-election is not just about one constituency; it is a verdict on the state government’s performance,” Harish Rao said. He urged citizens to vote with awareness, defeat Congress in Jubilee Hills, and put pressure on the government to fulfill its promises.
Harish Rao further accused the Congress government of focusing on political rivalries instead of addressing public grievances. He contrasted the current administration with the previous BRS government, claiming that apart from routine development work, the Congress has not initiated any new projects. Harish Rao also warned that Congress is harming Hyderabad’s brand image.
Calling the by-election a crucial opportunity to protect citizens’ rights and ensure promises are kept, he appealed to voters to support BRS and urged party workers to mobilize voters effectively.
