Governor Abdul Nazeer Visits Pawan Kalyan, Wishes Him Speedy Recovery

Andhra Pradesh Governor Justice S. Abdul Nazeer on Thursday visited Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan at his Hyderabad residence to enquire about his health following his recent right shoulder surgery . The Governor wished him a speedy recovery and advised him to strictly adhere to the medical team's instructions before resuming his public responsibilities.

During the courtesy visit, Justice Abdul Nazeer spent time interacting with Pawan Kalyan , seeking details about the surgery and his post-operative recovery. He emphasised the importance of taking adequate rest, avoiding physical strain, and following the prescribed rehabilitation plan to ensure a complete recovery. The Governor expressed confidence that the Deputy Chief Minister would soon return to active public service.

The visit comes days after Pawan Kalyan underwent a three-and-a-half-hour surgery at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for a severe rotator cuff injury in his right shoulder. Doctors have advised a period of rest followed by physiotherapy before he gradually resumes official duties.

A notable highlight of the meeting was the Governor's visit to Pawan Kalyan's personal library , where he explored an extensive collection of books covering constitutional law, governance, public policy, history, economics, philosophy, literature, international affairs, and social sciences . The two leaders discussed several works by prominent Indian and international authors, constitutional experts, economists, and policy thinkers.

According to sources, Justice Abdul Nazeer appreciated the thoughtfully curated collection, observing that a leader's commitment to reading and continuous learning strengthens decision-making and broadens perspectives in public life. He reportedly described the library as a reflection of intellectual curiosity and a serious interest in governance and public affairs.

At Pawan Kalyan's request, the Governor also signed one of the books in the collection, making the interaction a memorable moment during the visit.

Thanking the Governor for personally calling on him, Pawan Kalyan said the gesture and words of encouragement meant a great deal during his recovery. He expressed gratitude for the Governor's concern despite his busy schedule.
