On the occasion of Good Friday , several pastors visited the Tadepalli residence of former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and offered their blessings. Addressing the public on behalf of his party, Jagan underscored the significance of Jesus Christ’s life as a timeless example of sacrifice and compassion.

Describing Good Friday as one of the most sacred and solemn observances in Christianity , Jagan recalled the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on Calvary nearly two millennia ago for the redemption of humanity. He noted that Christ’s ultimate sacrifice, marked by forgiveness even toward his persecutors, forms the cornerstone of Christian faith. Devotees across the world observe the day with fasting, prayer, and reflection on Christ’s suffering.

Jagan further stated that both Good Friday and Easter Sunday represent defining moments in human history. He emphasized that Christ’s resurrection symbolized hope and renewal, offering humanity a powerful message of life beyond death.

Reflecting on Christ’s teachings, Jagan said they continue to inspire values such as unconditional love, compassion for the underprivileged, and forgiveness toward adversaries. He added that selflessness and sacrifice remain central to Christ’s philosophy.

He concluded by saying that the best way to honor Jesus Christ is by following the path of love, peace, and service . Jagan expressed hope for a society free from hatred, rooted in brotherhood, and blessed with harmony. A statement to this effect was also released by the YSRCP central office.
