
Gold Medallions Donated to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala
In a striking display of devotion to Lord Venkateswara, revered as the Kaliyuga Pratyaksha Daivam, a devotee from Bengaluru has offered a significant gold donation at the Tirumala temple.
M. Mahadevamma, a devotee from Bengaluru, visited Tirumala on Friday morning and presented seven gold medallions as an offering for the service of Lord Venkateswara. According to officials of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the total weight of the ornaments is around 753 grams , with an estimated market value of approximately ₹95 lakh .
The donation ceremony was conducted in a traditional and ceremonial manner at the Ranganayakula Mandapam inside the temple premises. The offerings were received in the presence of TTD Executive Officer M. Ravichandra and Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary .
Speaking on the occasion, Mahadevamma expressed her happiness and gratitude at being able to contribute to the deity she deeply reveres.
Following the presentation, TTD officials offered prasadam to the devotee and rendered Vedic blessings. The officials noted that such large-scale donations from devotees continue to reflect the enduring faith in Lord Venkateswara.
TTD authorities further stated that the gold medallions will be utilized as per temple traditions, either for the daily adornment of the deity or in accordance with institutional guidelines.
