Gold Inches Higher to Rs 1.56 Lakh/10g in Hyderabad, Silver Steady Around Rs 2.9 Lakh/kg
Gold prices in Hyderabad inched higher on Thursday, tracking firm global cues, though gains remained modest compared to sharp movements seen in some other Indian cities.
According to local bullion and retail market trackers, 24-carat gold was quoted around ₹1,56,200–₹1,56,300 per 10 grams , marking a slight rise of about ₹100–₹200 per 10 grams from the previous session.
The movement was largely range-bound, with traders saying Hyderabad bullion prices remained steady as domestic demand stayed subdued and global cues dictated sentiment.
In contrast to Delhi’s reported sharp rise, Hyderabad markets did not witness any significant spike, with jewellers reporting stable buying interest.
22-carat gold also traded firm in the range of ₹1,43,200–₹1,43,400 per 10 grams , reflecting a marginal upward bias in line with broader trends.
Meanwhile, silver prices showed little movement , holding near ₹2,85,000–₹2,90,000 per kilogram , depending on local retail quotes, with overall sentiment described as steady to slightly weak.
Traders said the local market continued to mirror international trends rather than exhibit sharp city-specific volatility.
In global markets, spot gold remained supported amid safe-haven demand and macroeconomic uncertainty, while silver traded with mixed bias as investors weighed industrial demand trends and currency movements.
