Godrej Properties to acquire multiple land parcels with Rs 30,000 cr revenue potential in FY26

Godrej Properties remains confident about the housing market and plans to acquire several land parcels this fiscal year, with a total revenue potential of around Rs 30,000 crore, a senior company official said.

The company is aggressively expanding its land bank by acquiring properties outright as well as partnering with landowners. In an interview, Executive Chairperson Pirojsha Godrej said the company’s business development, focused on new land acquisitions, has been robust in the first half of the fiscal year, with an equally promising pipeline for the second half.

Godrej Properties recently surpassed its business development guidance of Rs 20,000 crore for the current fiscal. Pirojsha noted that the company maintains conservative targets to avoid putting undue pressure on its internal teams for land acquisitions. “The land market has heated up. But we should do at least Rs 30,000 crore GDV this full fiscal year under business development,” he added.

The company recently acquired 75 acres in Nagpur for a housing project expected to generate Rs 755 crore, primarily through the sale of housing plots. Earlier this month, it acquired 30 acres in South Bengaluru to develop a township with an estimated revenue of Rs 3,500 crore.

In addition to acquisitions, Godrej Properties will focus on executing its ongoing projects in the second half of the fiscal year. Sales bookings grew 13 per cent to Rs 15,587 crore in the first six months of FY26, up from Rs 13,835 crore in the same period last year. The company is confident of achieving its annual sales bookings target of Rs 32,500 crore. In FY25, Godrej Properties sold housing projects worth Rs 29,444 crore.

The developer primarily operates in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Pune, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, while also offering housing plots in several tier II and III cities.
