The Dasara Sharannavaratri celebrations at the iconic Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Temple on Indrakeeladri are unfolding with spectacular grandeur. Devotees have flocked in large numbers to witness the festivities and seek the blessings of the Goddess.

On the occasion of Ashwayuja Shuddha Saptami, coinciding with the Mula Nakshatra, the Goddess was beautifully adorned in the form of Saraswati Devi, offering devotees a divine and mesmerizing darshan. The temple authorities have made elaborate arrangements to ensure smooth conduct of the celebrations, allowing devotees to participate in the rituals and cultural programs with ease.

The festival, marked by devotional fervor and vibrant rituals, continues to attract pilgrims from across the region, reflecting the deep-rooted faith and cultural heritage associated with the temple.

CM Chandrababu offers special ceremonial honors to goddess Durga on Moola Nakshatra

On the auspicious occasion of Moola Nakshatra, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his spouse presented ceremonial silk robes to Goddess Durga at her shrine atop Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada. Following the presentation, the priests offered Veda recitations and sacred Tirtha prasadam to the Chief Minister, marking a spiritually significant celebration for devotees and government representatives alike.
