Sai Sudharsan made 55 off 36 before falling, but it was skipper Shubman Gill who truly turned the screws, crafting a breathtaking 84 off just 44 balls — peppered with 9 fours and 3 sixes , before departing in the 17th over. Washington Sundar provided the finishing firepower with 37 off 20, and a late cameo from Rahul Tewatia (14 off just 4 balls, with two sixes) helped Gujarat post a commanding 229/4 in their allotted 20 overs.
