Gujarat Titans delivered a dominant all round performance at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on Sunday, crushing Lucknow Super Giants by seven wickets with eight balls remaining in Match 19 of IPL 2026.

Batting first, LSG managed 164/8 , starting brightly with 60 runs in the powerplay but failing to fully capitalise. Mitchell Marsh scored 11 off 4 balls before falling to Kagiso Rabada, while captain Rishabh Pant made 18 off 11 deliveries . Aiden Markram anchored the innings with 30 off 21 , supported by contributions from Nicholas Pooran and Abdul Samad. Late runs from George Linde and Mohammed Shami pushed the total to a competitive score, but Gujarat’s attack maintained control throughout.

The standout bowler was Prasidh Krishna , who ripped through the middle order with figures of 4/28 , breaking the backbone of the LSG innings.

In response, Gujarat Titans chased with authority. Sai Sudharsan fell early, but the partnership between Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler completely shifted momentum. Buttler smashed a fluent 60 off 37 balls , bringing up his 100th T20 half century , while Gill played a composed knock of 56 runs , also crossing 4,000 IPL runs .

The chase was finished smoothly by Washington Sundar and Rahul Tewatia, with Gujarat reaching the target in the 19th over without further damage .

The win pushes Gujarat Titans up to fifth place in the standings , while LSG are left searching for answers after a missed opportunity at home.
