GHMC Launches Modern Circle Offices in Kawadiguda and Musheerabad

In a major step to improve civic services in Hyderabad , the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has inaugurated two modern circle offices in the Secunderabad zone , costing a total ₹10.50 crore . The new offices, located in Kawadiguda and Musheerabad , are designed to make municipal services more accessible to residents, reducing the need to travel long distances for routine tasks.

Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar officially inaugurated the offices, highlighting the importance of decentralized governance . “Bringing essential services to citizens’ neighborhoods will save time and effort while ensuring faster resolution of their problems,” he said. The minister also commended the GHMC staff for their dedication and urged them to maintain transparency and accountability in public service.

The event was attended by Parliament member Anil Kumar Yadav , MLA Muta Gopal , Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi , GHMC Commissioner , and several senior officials . Speaking on the occasion, officials noted that the new circle offices would serve as local hubs for monitoring and executing civic projects , including road maintenance , drainage , street lighting , and sanitation drives .

Equipped with modern facilities such as dedicated service counters , digital boards displaying real-time updates , and complaint tracking systems , these offices aim to improve efficiency and responsiveness . Residents will now be able to register complaints , track progress , and access essential services without delays.

Local citizens expressed optimism about the new offices, saying that issues affecting their neighborhoods would now receive quicker attention . “We hope this will reduce the bureaucratic red tape and make GHMC more approachable ,” said one resident. Officials added that these offices mark the beginning of a broader effort to decentralize services across Hyderabad , ensuring governance is participatory and citizen-focused .

With the launch of these circle offices , GHMC hopes to strengthen urban administration and improve the quality of life for city residents, signaling a new era of efficient , neighborhood-centered governance in Hyderabad .
