GHMC Conducts Special Sanitation Drive in Serilingampally

A special sanitation drive launched by GHMC officials in the Serilingampally Circle of Hyderabad is progressing successfully, aiming to improve overall cleanliness and civic maintenance. The initiative was recently carried out on a large scale in TNGOs Colony , with a focus on enhancing environmental hygiene and beautifying public spaces.

As part of the drive, heavy machinery and sanitation teams were extensively deployed. Construction debris and accumulated waste along roadsides were cleared using large vehicles. Footpaths and roadways were cleaned to ensure better convenience for pedestrians.

Alongside sanitation workers, local voluntary organisations and community members actively participated, coordinating with officials to ensure smooth execution. Additional heavy equipment was brought in to accelerate the work. As a result of the drive, major roads in the colony have been significantly improved .

Officials stated that such special drives will be conducted regularly to ensure improved living standards across the city.
