Choreographer-filmmaker Ganesh Acharya on Sunday unveiled the trailer of his upcoming directorial, “Ganesh Dust To Stardust”, a biographical drama chronicling his journey from humble beginnings to becoming one of the leading choreographers in the Hindi film industry.

Written and directed by Acharya, the film explores his struggles, sacrifices and determination as he pursued his dream of establishing himself in cinema. The trailer offers glimpses of his personal and professional journey, with dance sequences and emotionally charged moments forming key elements of the narrative.

The film stars Shivanshu Soni, Alok Shaw, Sukanya Kalan and Sakshi Pawaskar. It is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 11. Acharya said the film conveys the message that dreams require hard work, sacrifice and perseverance to become reality.

“Everyone has the right to dream, but dreams don't come true just by dreaming. You have to work hard, make sacrifices and keep moving forward, no matter how difficult the journey gets,” he said in a statement.

His daughter, Soundarya Acharya, who has produced the film, said it was about believing in one's aspirations even when circumstances make them appear impossible. She described watching her father bring the project to life as a special experience.

Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn shared the trailer on social media. Akshay recalled his long association with Acharya and said he was proud of the choreographer's achievements, attributing his rise to hard work and talent.

Acharya began his career in the 1990s and choreographed several popular Hindi film songs, including “Beedi Jalaile” from “Omkara”, “Chikni Chameli” from “Agneepath” and “Malhari” from “Bajirao Mastani”.

He won National Film Awards for Best Choreography for “Hawan Kund” from “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” and “Gori Tu Lath Maar” from “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha”.
