Galla Madhavi Expresses Confidence in NDA’s Clean Sweep in Local Body Elections
Guntur West MLA Galla Madhavi has expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), comprising the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Jana Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), will achieve a sweeping victory in the upcoming local body elections.
She said the alliance’s strength lay in the public’s trust in the coalition government, its welfare schemes and the development initiatives being implemented across Andhra Pradesh. According to her, the government’s focus on public welfare and infrastructure development would help NDA-backed candidates secure a strong mandate.
On Sunday, Madhavi participated in nomination programmes organised for Guntur Municipal Corporation mayoral candidate Kovelamudi Lakshmi Aparna and several alliance-supported candidates contesting from divisions within the Guntur West Assembly constituency.
She extended her support to Ulli Gopal Krishna, the NDA-backed candidate from Division 27; Galam Venkateswarlu from Division 34; Ganta Moulika from Division 31; and Manam Srinivas from Division 48 during their respective nomination programmes.
Addressing party leaders and workers on the occasion, Madhavi said the alliance candidates were poised to secure victories with substantial margins, citing the public response to the government’s welfare and development programmes. She expressed confidence that people’s faith in the coalition government would be reflected in the local election results.
The MLA also urged leaders and party workers belonging to the three alliance partners to maintain close coordination and work together towards a common goal. She stressed the need for sustained grassroots-level campaigning, direct interaction with voters and coordinated efforts to strengthen support for the candidates.
Calling for unity among the alliance cadre, Madhavi said collective efforts would be essential to achieving the NDA’s electoral objectives. She asked party workers to remain focused on ensuring the victory of alliance-backed candidates in the local body elections.
