From one clapboard to three: The family man season 3 in the works

Celebrating six years since the debut of The Family Man on Amazon Prime Video, acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee has confirmed that the much-anticipated Season 3 is currently underway. Bajpayee, who portrays Srikant Tiwari, shared the update on Instagram, posting images from the first season with the caption: “6 years since #TheFamilyMan Season 1 dropped and became a cult classic. Season 3? Bas samajh lo, operation underway…” The announcement has thrilled fans eagerly awaiting the continuation of the spy thriller.

Created by the acclaimed duo Raj & DK, The Family Man follows Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man secretly working as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictional branch of India’s National Investigation Agency. The series is celebrated for its gripping narrative, high-stakes espionage, and Bajpayee’s compelling portrayal of a man balancing family life with covert operations.

Season 2 introduced Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the main antagonist, marking her digital debut, and explored Tiwari’s struggle to manage personal responsibilities while confronting a formidable new enemy. The series has been widely praised for its realistic depiction of intelligence operations, engaging story arcs, and strong performances.

Alongside The Family Man 3, Bajpayee is involved in other projects, including Inspector Zende, inspired by serial killer Charles Sobhraj, and Jugnuma, set in the Indian Himalayas during the 1980s.
