Free Breakfast Initiative for Students: Deputy CM Bhatti Speaks Out

Rangareddy district’s historic Mogiligidda Government School recently celebrated its 150th anniversary , with Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he lauded the institution where land reform pioneer and former Chief Minister Burgula Ramakrishna Rao once studied, calling it a proud milestone in Telangana’s history.

The Deputy CM praised the school’s century-and-a-half-long contribution to the state’s education sector, emphasizing that the government places the highest priority on public education . He added that under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the state government is committed to providing free breakfast to students in government schools as soon as financial conditions allow.

Highlighting the benefits of the common school system , he noted that the government aims to nurture equality from an early age , promoting unity across caste, religion, and economic backgrounds. In line with this vision, the government is constructing Young India Integrated Residential Schools in each constituency, each spanning 25 acres and costing ₹200 crore .

Deputy CM Vikramarka stressed that strong human resources are the foundation for Telangana’s future, and that free education and healthcare will remain the core priorities of the public government.
