Foundation Stone Laid for ITC Centre in Naskal, Parigi Constituency
A significant step was taken towards the development of Parigi constituency as the foundation stone for a new Industrial/Trade Centre (ITC) building was laid at Naskal village on Saturday. The event was attended by a large number of local representatives, officials, and residents.
The foundation ceremony was presided over by G. Vivek Venkataswamy, Minister for Labour and Mines, who unveiled the plaque and formally initiated the construction work. Parigi MLA T. Rammohan Reddy also participated in the event and expressed support for the project.
Before the construction ceremony, floral tributes were offered to the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, at the village centre. The minister emphasized the importance of following Ambedkar’s ideals of equality and social justice.
Speaking at the event, Minister Vivek stated that the construction of the ITC building would accelerate the pace of development not only in Naskal village but also across the Parigi constituency. He added that the project would create employment opportunities for local youth and improve basic infrastructure in rural areas. It was stressed that the government remains committed to the comprehensive development of every village in the constituency.
MLA T. Rammohan Reddy remarked that the arrival of the ITC building in Naskal was a matter of pride and assured that additional developmental initiatives would be taken in the near future. The local residents expressed happiness and satisfaction at the successful completion of the ceremony.
The funding for the project is expected to be primarily provided through the state government’s budget under rural development and labour/industry departments. Additional support may be received from central government schemes such as PMKVY and Skill India. Opportunities for private industrial or commercial partnerships are also being explored under a public-private partnership model to enhance the project’s infrastructure and facilities.
