Five Modern Junctions Planned to Upgrade Sangareddy Bypass

As part of the town’s development, beautification works on the Sangareddy bypass road are progressing at a brisk pace. Congress leader and former MLA Jaggareddy conducted a field visit with officials on Sunday and guided the plan to establish five key junctions along the bypass.

Reviewing the ₹13 crore road expansion project , he instructed HMDA officials to set up junctions at five locations between the IB Guest House and Basaveshwara Chowk . He also inspected the IB Junction and RDO Camp Office Circle , offering suggestions on their designs.

Jaggareddy emphasised that the junctions should not be limited to traffic management but must also be visually appealing and people-friendly . He directed consultancy representatives to prioritise greenery and aesthetic development in the designs. Officials were also advised to ensure that traffic disruptions are minimised during construction.

He urged that the road expansion works be completed on a war footing and made available to the public at the earliest. Municipal Vice Chairman Shafi Hafeez , HMDA Engineer Venkat , and others participated in the programme.

Once completed, the project is expected to transform the town’s landscape and make commuting significantly easier.
