Federal Bank Office Assistant Recruitment 2026 Application Closes Today

Federal Bank has issued an official notification inviting online applications for the recruitment of Office Assistants for the year 2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill multiple vacancies across notified branches and offices in various States and Union Territories. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the bank’s official website www.federalbank.in on or before January 8, 2026 .

According to the notification, candidates who have passed 10th Standard and have not completed graduation are eligible to apply. Applicants must be between 18 and 20 years of age as on December 1, 2025. The recruitment also mandates that candidates should have completed a minimum one-month training programme in Microsoft Office , with a valid certificate to be produced at the time of the personal interview.

An important eligibility condition is the domicile requirement. Applicants must be residents of the same district as the notified branch or within a 20-kilometre radius of the branch or office for which they are applying. Only Indian citizens with no criminal record are eligible to participate in the recruitment process.

The selected candidates will be appointed in the pay scale of ₹19,500 to ₹37,815 , along with 11 stagnation increments . In addition to salary, employees will be entitled to benefits such as coverage under the National Pension Scheme (NPS) , gratuity, medical insurance for self and dependents, and concessional loans as per the bank’s rules.

The selection process will consist of a Centre Based Online Aptitude Test, conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), followed by a personal interview for shortlisted candidates. The online test will comprise 60 objective-type questions from Computer Knowledge, English, Logical Reasoning and Mathematics, carrying a total of 60 marks, to be completed in 60 minutes. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

The online application process commenced on December 30, 2025 , and the application fee has been fixed at ₹500 for General and other category candidates , while SC/ST candidates need to pay ₹100 , excluding applicable GST. The bank has clarified that the application fee is non-refundable .

Federal Bank has advised candidates to submit only one application , as multiple applications may lead to cancellation of candidature. Applicants are also encouraged to apply at the earliest, as the bank reserves the right to close the application window before the due date depending on the number of applications received.
