'Fauzi' New Poster: Prabhas’ Blood-Soaked Look Raises Big Questions
Prabhas’ Fauzi is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on December 3, 2026, and the makers have added to the buzz with a striking Independence Day poster. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the period war drama is being mounted on a grand scale by Mythri Movie Makers in association with T-Series.
The new poster takes a different route from the usual star-centric designs. An old man dressed in what appears to be Gandhi-inspired attire is seen walking towards the Charminar, while Prabhas is shown from behind with blood stains all over his outfit. He holds a pistol in each hand, but his face is kept completely out of view. The smoky, war-torn setting and the Charminar in the background add to the mystery surrounding the story.
The makers have kept the visuals intense without revealing too much about Prabhas’ character. Earlier posters have already presented him as a battle-hardened soldier and carried the tagline “A Battalion Who Fights Alone.” The film is said to be a fictional historical drama set against the backdrop of pre-Independence India.
The latest poster also suggests that Fauzi will have a strong emotional and patriotic layer along with its action. The team appears to be saving the bigger reveals for the theatrical experience, keeping the plot details under wraps.
Debutant Imanvi plays the female lead. The cast also includes Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada and Chaitra J. Achar in important roles. Vishal Chandrasekhar is composing the music, while Sudeep Chatterjee is handling cinematography and Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao is the editor.
With its December 3 release date locked, Prabhas’ Fauzi is shaping up as one of the major pan-India releases to watch out for later this year.
