The trailer of Farhan Akhtar’s much-awaited war drama 120 Bahadur has been unveiled, offering audiences a stirring glimpse into one of India’s most heroic military battles. Backed by Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios, the film brings to life the legendary Battle of Rezang La from the Sino-Indian War of 1962, where 120 Indian soldiers stood their ground against thousands of Chinese troops.

The two-minute trailer captures the grit, sacrifice, and spirit of the 13 Kumaon Regiment’s Charlie Company, led by Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, who was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his exceptional bravery.

Directed by Razy Ghai, 120 Bahadur features Farhan Akhtar in the lead role as Major Shaitan Singh, with Raashii Khanna portraying his wife, Shagun Kanwari Singh. The ensemble cast also includes Eijaz Khan, Vivan Bhatena, Ankit Siwach, Ashutosh Shukla, Atul Singh, Brijesh Karanwal, Devendra Ahirwar, Dhanveer Singh, Digvijay Pratap, and Sahib Verma.

The film’s music is composed by Amit Trivedi, with lyrics by Javed Akhtar, while acclaimed cinematographer Tetsuo Nagata handles the visuals, capturing the harsh Himalayan terrain and the intensity of battle with cinematic grandeur.

Farhan Akhtar shared the trailer on social media with the caption, “Based on a true story that shaped our nation’s history 120 Bahadur, trailer out now.” He also extended special thanks to Amitabh Bachchan, hinting at the veteran actor’s association with the project.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and Amit Chandra, 120 Bahadur is set to release in theatres on November 21, 2025.

With its sweeping scale, emotional core, and historical significance, 120 Bahadur promises to be a powerful cinematic salute to the real-life heroes who defended the nation in one of India’s most defining military moments.
