Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, says fame in the digital era is no longer temporary, as the social media personality opened up about his growing popularity and upcoming reality show appearance.

Known for his close association with Bollywood celebrities and star kids, Orry reflected on how many believed his popularity would fade quickly after he first became a public figure. However, the influencer said he has managed to stay relevant for over three years despite predictions about his “15 minutes of fame” ending soon.

With millions of followers on Instagram, viral social media reels, and appearances in projects such as Koffee With Karan, Call Me Bae and Nadaaniyaan, Orry said visibility and relevance are key aspects of modern celebrity culture.

“Once you become famous, you can’t become unfamous, you become relevant,” he said while speaking about the changing dynamics of stardom in the social media age.

The internet personality is now gearing up for his stint in the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty. Orry revealed that although he has received offers for several reality shows in the past, he usually avoids them as he is not fond of “captive reality” formats.

He said the stunt-based reality show appealed to him because it would challenge his physical and mental endurance while offering a completely new experience.

Orry also dismissed rumours suggesting he would appear in Love & War by acclaimed filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He admitted that acting and film sets do not interest him, adding that he prefers being himself rather than portraying fictional characters on screen.

The upcoming season of “Khatron Ke Khiladi” will feature several popular television personalities and entertainers competing in high-risk stunts and adventure-based challenges. Filming for the new season is expected to begin in Cape Town later this month.
