East Godavari Horror Crash: Three Killed in Tragic Road Accident

A tragic road accident occurred in East Godavari district on Wednesday morning, leaving three people dead and one critically injured . The incident took place on a national highway near Ananthapalli in Nallajerla mandal, when a speeding car went out of control and crashed into a roadside signboard .

According to police , Chaparla Hanumantha Rao, D. Sagar, Chaparla Raju, and Gannina Narendra, residents of Gajjaram village in Thallapudi mandal, had travelled to Chennai for medical treatment . They were returning home after Hanumantha Rao, a differently-abled person, underwent medical tests.

The accident occurred about 500 meters from the Ananthapalli toll plaza. The impact of the collision was so severe that the car was completely mangled. Hanumantha Rao, Sagar, and Raju died on the spot due to heavy bleeding, while Narendra, who was seated in the rear, sustained serious injuries. He was rushed to a hospital in a highway ambulance, and doctors reported his condition as critical.

Police in Nallajerla have registered a case and shifted the bodies to the Government Hospital in Gopalapuram for post-mortem. Preliminary findings suggest that overspeeding led to the accident.
