Dulquer Salmaan’s 'Aakasamlo Oka Tara' Locks November 20 Release Date

Dulquer Salmaan’s 'Aakasamlo Oka Tara' finally has a date on the big screen. The much awaited Telugu film, directed by Pavan Sadineni, will arrive in theatres worldwide on November 20, 2026, with the makers announcing the release date on Thursday.

The announcement gives the film a clear theatrical target after months of anticipation. 'Aakasamlo Oka Tara' will be released in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi, adding to its pan Indian reach.

The film has already begun building curiosity through its teaser and music. Its first single, 'Chitti Chitti Cheema', was released on Dulquer’s birthday in July. Composed by GV Prakash Kumar, the song offers a glimpse into the emotional world of the story, with lyrics by Sreemani and vocals by Ramya Behara.

The film also marks an important introduction. Satvika Veeravalli plays the female lead, portraying a rural girl whose dream is to become an astronaut. The makers had earlier introduced her character through a video built around the question of reaching space, giving audiences an early idea of the film’s central theme.

Dulquer, meanwhile, plays a character named Krishna. The makers revealed his character through a special poster released on his birthday along with the announcement of the first single.

Shruti Haasan is also part of the project in a pivotal role. She reportedly resumed shooting for the film in July, with reports describing her character as a contemporary woman who wants to live life on her own terms.

The film is being produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam under Light Box Media and presented by Geetha Arts and Swapna Cinema, with Vyjayanthi Movies also associated with the project. Sujith Sarang is handling cinematography and Praveen KL the editing.

Now, with November 20 officially locked, the focus shifts to the promotional campaign. The teaser and first song have already offered glimpses of the film’s emotional and aspirational world. The next big question is what the makers will reveal before Dulquer’s 'Aakasamlo Oka Tara' takes its journey to theatres.
