Dubbaka MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy Inspects Culvert Works on NH-44

Dubbaka MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy on Sunday inspected the ongoing culvert construction works on National Highway-44 within the Dubbaka constituency and directed officials to speed up the project without causing inconvenience to commuters and local residents.

During the inspection, the MLA stressed that the works must be completed with high-quality standards and within the stipulated deadline. He instructed officials to ensure smooth traffic movement and take all necessary precautions to avoid disruptions for motorists using the busy highway.

Speaking on the occasion, Prabhakar Reddy said that severe drainage and waterlogging issues during the monsoon season had been creating major difficulties for both the public and vehicle users along the highway stretch. He noted that heavy rains often lead to stagnant water on the road, increasing the risk of accidents and affecting transportation.

To provide a permanent solution to the recurring problem, the government had undertaken the construction of the new culvert using modern engineering standards , he said.

The MLA also warned officials against negligence in execution and called for continuous monitoring of the project. He emphasised that public safety should remain the top priority and instructed authorities to install warning signboards and implement adequate safety measures at the construction site to prevent mishaps.

Reaffirming the government’s commitment to accelerating development works in the constituency, Prabhakar Reddy said improved road infrastructure would significantly enhance the region’s transportation network and provide better connectivity for the public.
