‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’ Trailer Brings Ajay Devgn Back For One Last Fight
‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’ trailer has been released, giving audiences a glimpse of the final chapter in the popular crime-thriller franchise. Starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran and Jaideep Ahlawat, the film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on October 2, 2026.
The nearly three-minute trailer brings back Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar, who once again finds himself trying to protect his family from the law. Tabu reprises her role as Meera Deshmukh, but this time her pursuit appears to be driven by revenge rather than simply justice.
A major addition to the franchise is Jaideep Ahlawat, who plays a senior Crime Branch police officer and joins Meera in attempting to uncover the truth surrounding the case. Prakash Raj is another new addition, while Rajat Kapoor, Ishita Dutta and Shriya Saran return to the franchise.
The trailer suggests that Meera has continued to pursue Vijay for years and believes she now has new evidence that could finally expose him. Vijay, meanwhile, understands that his carefully constructed plan may be running out of options. The central question remains whether he can once again protect his family without revealing the truth.
One notable change is the absence of Akshaye Khanna, whose character played a key role in Drishyam 2. His exit changes the investigative dynamic, with Ahlawat's character becoming the new major threat to Vijay.
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, who also helmed Drishyam 2, the film is being positioned as the conclusion to Vijay Salgaonkar's story. The choice of October 2 is also significant to the franchise, as the date has been repeatedly associated with Vijay's elaborate cover-up.
With familiar characters returning and new investigators entering the story, ‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’ promises another battle of intelligence between Vijay and those determined to expose him.
