Former Miss Switzerland contestant Beatrice Keul has accused US President Donald Trump of raping her in 1993, alleging that the assault left her bleeding and bruised. The claim appears in a 53-page report released by House Judiciary Committee Democrats on October 26, examining Trump's alleged links to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The White House has denied the allegations, calling the report politically motivated.

Keul, then 24 and working as a model and financial services professional, attended the Donald J Trump American Dream Pageant in November 1993 after being recruited by Jill Harth. At a press luncheon at New York's Plaza Hotel, then owned by Trump, he allegedly offered to help her obtain a US visa and admission to New York University through modelling agent Paolo Zampolli, a Trump ally.

Epstein subsequently approached Keul, introduced himself as Trump's best friend and said he had organised “many parties with Don”, according to her account. He allegedly offered to cover her travel and accommodation for a party at Trump's Mar-a-Lago property in Florida.

Keul told congressional staff that a Trump representative later invited her to a hotel suite, where Trump allegedly grabbed her from behind and forcibly raped her, tearing her dress and leaving her bleeding and bruised. She said he subsequently pressed her to remain silent while repeating his promises of assistance. Keul reportedly completed the pageant before returning to Switzerland and later declined another Trump-sponsored pageant in Hawaii.

Her account expands on allegations of unwanted kissing, groping and attempted removal of her dress that she had discussed publicly in 2024. The report says its expanded account includes additional details and evidence from people present at the pageant.

The report examines accounts involving 11 women, including five who directly accused Trump of rape or sexual assault in Epstein's company or presence. It also discusses alleged encounters involving Stacey Williams, Jill Harth and other women, as well as allegations concerning minors. These claims have varying levels of supporting evidence and have not been established collectively as criminal findings.

Democrats also accuse the Justice Department and FBI of withholding evidence and halting investigations into Epstein's associates. The report questions Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche's handling of Ghislaine Maxwell's 2025 interview and calls for an independent special counsel to investigate. It further alleges that Trump and Zampolli may have been co-conspirators, a claim that remains unproven.

White House spokeswoman Lauren Bis rejected the allegations, saying none was true and describing the report as a political distraction. Trump has not been criminally charged over Keul's claims.

Separately, a civil jury found Trump liable for sexually abusing writer E Jean Carroll and defaming her in 2023. Trump denied her allegations and challenged the verdicts.
