For years, jokes about Wi-Fi-enabled toasters have mocked the obsession with making every household gadget “smart.” At CES 2026 , that punchline started looking real as Dreame Technology unveiled its AI-powered Whole-home Smart Ecosystem , pushing far beyond robot vacuums into a connected network of appliances covering the home, kitchen, personal care and even outdoor spaces. The company showcased its largest CES presence across two venues, positioning itself not as a device-maker but as a provider of connected lifestyle ecosystems built around automation, convenience and AI-driven intelligence.

Dreame’s new ecosystem is designed to function as a collaborative network where devices communicate and work together rather than operating independently. From cleaning routines to climate control, the company aims to deliver a seamless experience through a single Dreame app hub , enabling users to manage everything from scheduling robot vacuums to regulating air flow across different zones. Under the hood, Dreame says the system is built on three core technology pillars AI algorithms , high-speed motors , and bionic robotic arms allowing devices to learn from data, anticipate needs and execute tasks with greater precision.

In smart cleaning, Dreame showcased its flagship X60 Ultra Series robot vacuum , designed for full coverage with an ultra-slim 7.95 cm body that can glide under low furniture. The company says the device uses AI vision for faster mapping, better route planning and enhanced object avoidance, while advanced mobility features allow it to tackle uneven surfaces and step-like obstacles. Alongside it, Dreame introduced upgraded wet-and-dry vacuum solutions including the H-series, equipped with steam and hot-water cleaning, and improved anti-tangle systems aimed at solving one of the biggest consumer pain points hair buildup.

The company also highlighted innovations such as the Aqua10 Ultra Roller robot vacuum, designed with a continuous-clean mopping approach to prevent grime from spreading during operation. Moving beyond floors, Dreame’s air-care lineup drew attention with the X-Wind (D-Wind) Air Conditioner , a “robotic” AC concept that uses dual mechanical air-deflection arms to steer airflow across wider angles for a more natural cooling effect. It also showcased the MF10 MultiDirection bladeless fan, reflecting Dreame’s growing focus on programmable comfort and indoor air optimisation.

In air purification, the brand introduced the Furcatch FP10 Air Purifier , designed specifically for pet owners and recognised as a CES Innovation Awards Honoree. The purifier’s focus on hygiene and low-maintenance self-cleaning reflects a larger industry shift toward appliances tailored for lifestyle segments like pet households. Dreame also hinted at broader smart-home hardware ambitions, including premium refrigerator concepts and expanded kitchen appliances such as the RZ601 Pro gas range, signalling its intent to compete in categories traditionally dominated by legacy appliance giants.

Dreame’s expansion did not stop indoors. At CES 2026, the company spotlighted outdoor automation products including the robotic mower and a pool-cleaning robot, extending the ecosystem idea from “smart home” to what could be described as “smart property management.” However, the product that best captured the editor’s angle the shift from gimmick to reality was the company’s push into smart personal care. Dreame featured the Aero Straight Series Air Straightener Hair Dryer , a hybrid device that combines drying and straightening using high-speed airflow, precise heat monitoring and protective coatings to reduce heat stress.

Beyond appliances, Dreame also highlighted its move into wearable technology by showcasing an AI Haptic Ring , showing how the company is building not just a home ecosystem but a broader lifestyle technology stack. The bigger CES 2026 message was clear: Dreame no longer wants to be known only as a robot vacuum brand it is attempting to become a full ecosystem player in AI-powered living. And if the smart toaster joke ever becomes real, CES 2026 suggests consumers might soon stop laughing and simply expect it.
