Dr. Jitendra Singh Inaugurates national workshop on good governance practices today

Hon’ble Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh , inaugurated the National Workshop on Good Governance Practices today at the Civil Services Officers' Institute, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee . The workshop marks the culmination of this year’s Good Governance Week , celebrated from 19th to 25th December.

The workshop focuses on good governance practices today , highlighting modern initiatives, technology-driven solutions, and citizen-centric approaches that are improving administrative efficiency across India. Over the past week, more than 1.5 crore service delivery applications were processed and 17 lakh public grievances were resolved through CPGRAMS and State portals, with over 32,000 camps and workshops organized nationwide.

The Special Campaign 5.0, aimed at institutionalizing Swachhata and reducing file pendency, has cumulatively covered 23.65 lakh sites, weeded 167.38 lakh files, freed 930.2 lakh sq. ft. of office space, and generated Rs. 4,130.63 crore in revenue between 2021 and 2025.

During the workshop, Dr. Singh released seven reports and Ministry apps, including the Assessment Report of Special Campaign 5.0, Annual Report of CPGRAMS, and a Compendium on Reservation for Ex-Servicemen (ESM). He also launched digital tools like the AI-Powered Recruitment Rules Generator, the eHRMS 2.0 mobile app, and upgrades to the iGOT Karmayogi Portal and Digital Learning Lab 2.0, all aimed at enhancing decision-making, streamlining HR processes, and strengthening governance today.

The event, attended by over 1,000 officers via video conferencing, included discussions on best practices, innovative governance solutions, and efficiency-driven initiatives that reflect the present-day focus on transparent, accountable, and citizen-centric administration.
