Donald Trump Jr, son of US President Donald Trump, praised Anant Ambani’s Vantara wildlife conservation project during his visit to Jamnagar, describing it as “a wonder of the world” and calling the experience unlike anything he had witnessed before. Touring the sprawling animal rescue and rehabilitation centre, he expressed admiration for the project’s scale, scientific care standards and the effort taken to recreate natural habitats for distressed and rescued wildlife, calling it a benchmark for global conservation initiatives.

During his visit to the facility, Trump Jr closely interacted with the staff and observed the rehabilitation work being carried out for animals brought from different parts of India and abroad. In a video message recorded alongside Anant Ambani, he said the vision behind rescuing animals and giving them a new life was deeply inspiring and commented that the facilities were so well designed that “this is better than I live.” Anant Ambani, responding to the appreciation, said that Vantara was created with the sole purpose of protecting vulnerable animals, providing them safe and dignified care and promoting long-term ecological responsibility through science-backed conservation.

Trump Jr also participated in cultural activities during his time at the Vantara premises. He was seen dancing to the popular “Jhumka” song along with Ranveer and other attendees, a moment that drew wide public attention. He also joined in playing garba with Anant Ambani, embracing Gujarati folk traditions showcased during the visit. Adding a spiritual element to his time at the centre, he offered prayers at the Ganpati temple located within the premises, marking a respectful engagement with Indian religious practices.

The visit formed part of Trump Jr’s short trip to India, which was largely private in nature and aimed at strengthening personal and social connections. He is in India for approximately three days. The interaction between Trump Jr and Anant Ambani reflected growing people-to-people ties between influential global families.
