Divine Visit: Komatireddy Pays Homage to Lord Narasimha in Yadadri

Telangana’s Minister for Roads and Buildings, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy , visited the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at Yadagirigutta on Tuesday to seek blessings for the welfare and prosperity of the state. The temple priests welcomed him with a traditional Purnakumbham ceremony , and special rituals were performed in his honor. Speaking to the media, Minister Reddy said he prayed for abundant crops, improved health, and overall well-being of Telangana’s people. He expressed hope that the divine blessings of Lord Narasimha would continue to guide the government’s developmental efforts.

Following the spiritual visit, the minister toured Saidapur village in Yadagirigutta Mandal , part of the Aleru Assembly constituency , along with local MLA Beerlai Ilaiyya , to inaugurate and inspect several development projects aimed at improving rural infrastructure and public welfare . Among the key initiatives, Minister Reddy inaugurated newly constructed Anganwadi buildings , providing state-of-the-art facilities for children. He highlighted that these centers play a crucial role in ensuring nutrition, early childhood education, and healthcare , which are essential for the holistic development of young children in rural areas.

In addition, the minister laid the foundation stone for a 33/11 kV substation to ensure continuous, high-quality electricity supply to Saidapur and nearby villages. He emphasized that this infrastructure would boost agricultural productivity, benefit households, and support local industries , significantly improving the quality of life and economic opportunities in the region.

Minister Reddy also announced plans for further improvements in road connectivity, water supply, and public health facilities in the area, reiterating that comprehensive rural development remains a top priority for the Telangana government. He assured residents that the government is committed to fast-tracking development initiatives in line with local needs and expectations.

During his visit, the minister engaged with local residents and officials to assess ongoing projects , underscoring the government’s focus on transparent and effective implementation of development schemes. He stressed that initiatives in education, health, power, and infrastructure are central to empowering rural communities and improving overall living standards across the state.
