The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Bihar has launched the ‘Modi Mitra Digital Warrior Campaign’ to connect with voters ahead of the state elections scheduled for October-November 2025. The initiative aims to highlight two decades of development under the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government and engage citizens through digital platforms.

Bihar BJP president Dilip Jaiswal stated that the campaign’s goal is to train 10,000 digital warriors in each assembly constituency to disseminate information about the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the NDA government to every household in the state.

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha emphasized that the NDA government has made significant progress in infrastructure, electricity, education, health, employment, and digital connectivity. He described the campaign as a crucial tool to reach the youth and ensure accurate information reaches every voter.

BJP General Secretary (Organization) Bhikhu Bhai Dalsania noted that the party understands public aspirations and highlighted India’s progress under Prime Minister Modi. Amit Malviya, National Convener of the BJP IT Cell, detailed the technical framework of the campaign, explaining that the BJP’s IT wing would now operate actively at the village level across Bihar.

Within an hour of its launch, over 10,000 individuals had registered for the campaign, according to Anmol Shobhit, Coordinator of Bihar’s Social Media and IT Department.

Former state BJP president and Member of Parliament Sanjay Jaiswal stated that Bihar has witnessed substantial development over the past 15 years. He criticized opposition parties, asserting that those who governed during the “Jungle Raj” era have no authority to discuss development. He expressed confidence that the people of Bihar will continue to support Prime Minister Modi and the NDA government.

The ‘Modi Mitra’ campaign is part of the BJP’s broader strategy to leverage digital platforms for political engagement and mobilize support in the lead-up to the forthcoming Bihar elections. By combining grassroots outreach with digital tools, the party aims to ensure its message reaches every voter in the state efficiently and effectively.

This campaign underscores the growing importance of digital initiatives in Indian political campaigns, reflecting a shift toward technology-driven voter engagement at both urban and rural levels.
