Director Aditya Dhar’s high-octane sequel Dhurandhar: The Revenge has emerged as a major box office force, crossing the ₹1,000 crore mark globally within its first week of release. The film, which hit theatres on March 19, has recorded a worldwide gross of ₹1,067 crore by day eight, underlining its strong commercial momentum across markets.

Headlined by Ranveer Singh, the nearly four-hour action drama also features prominent performances by Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal . The film has performed robustly in domestic circuits, contributing ₹675 crore to the total, while overseas markets have added ₹262 crore.

Trade analysts note that the film has surpassed the lifetime earnings of Pathaan, positioning it among the top-grossing Indian films of all time. The success further strengthens the franchise’s standing, marking its second ₹1,000 crore entry within a span of just over three months.

Audience engagement has also been significant on digital ticketing platforms, with over 11.33 million tickets booked through BookMyShow during the opening week, reflecting sustained public interest.
